Desa Enerji

Desa Enerji Pınarbaşı Power Plant began operations in 1998 and is one of Turkey's first cogeneration plants.

The facility in Bornova, Izmir, initially operated on naphtha but converted to natural gas in 2004. The power plant, which produces electricity and heat energy, began operating as Desa Enerji Electricity Production Inc. after obtaining a production license in 2009.

The plant increased its capacity to 15.6 MW in 2016 and produces 230 million kWh of energy annually.

It continues its operations as a Hybrid Power Plant with the GES established in 2024.
